Binge Benders- See the Light

Binge Benders have finally seen the light. I've unearthed some new and some old songs, a co mingling and convergence of styles and sounds, ideas bounced around, an offering fit for internet release because they've been stored away too long. Beyond the demo takes and pop-hisses the original prize and promise shines through. From the analog 8-track tape beginnings until the Logic Pro Studio sound effects collection, the songs vary as much in structure as substance. Growth is captured in glorious digital.

Here it is, finally, the Sucker Punks "Fuck You" first demo. I joined up with the Sucker Punks my senior year of high school. I have never been the same. These guys are crazy. We have played three (or, three and a half) shows thus far, hopefully to continue when we're back from school. Two of them were college basement parties; one of which would go down as a colossal misstep in Burlington history. Nevertheless, enjoy the first installment of the Sucker Punks potential. Recorded, mixed, and all that technical stuff by me, Pete Arsenault, in my basement.

This is an excerpt of a performance I gave on the Boston area radio station 104.1 WBCN. The date was June 8, 2008 (my 18th birthday), and the show was Boston Emissions. The DJ was Mark Hamilton. I was invited on the show because of my performance in the Burlington High Battle of the Bands.
